The Village of Cazenovia will be joining this year's competition for New York State's Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) program. DRI is a $10 million grant opportunity open annually for communities across the state. The goals of the program are to increase walkability, redevelopment, business vitality, and economic and housing diversity in New York's downtowns. Each year one community is selected from each region to receive the award. If chosen, the Village would undertake a year-long public process to determine the final projects.
Currently, CACDA and the Village are soliciting ideas from the community to complete the application. Please consider attending a public open house at the Cazenovia Library community room on Monday, September 16th from 5pm-8pm. This will be an opportunity to learn more about the projects that are planned for inclusion in the application and to provide feedback and ideas.
